Connecting on Mother's Day 2020 - I’m so excited that restrictions are starting to ease which means we can actually celebrate Mother’s Day this year and reconnect with our families.
I have so many things I want to do and ways I want to connect with my family - ways which I probably used to take for granted. But celebrating a beautiful breakfast is top of the list for my Mother’s Day celebrations.
So I thought I’d share with you my ideas for the perfect Mother’s Day breakfast - whether you’re planning on celebrating the morning with your Mum or whether you’re going to print this out as a hint-hint, nudge-nudge to your hubby and kids for the perfect Mother’s Day breakfast in bed. This breakfast grazing board is a super easy platter that even the kids can help with. So hit print, maybe even make a few copies and strategically leave them lying around the house 😉
Making the perfect breakfast in bed for Mum can be as easy as you like. Get yourself some delish ready made waffles or pancakes and just throw on some fresh fruit for your toppings and you've got the start of something really beautiful. Or go the whole hog and cook up a storm for Mum and add in some home made muesli topped with greek yoghurt. Whichever way you go, just don't forget the coffee.
Watch the video for a step by step guide on how I put together this Mothers Day breakfast in bed platter. With the right ingredients and some thoughtful placement, you can create the most impressive breakfast platter. And if you want to start with the Foam Series Grazing Platter like I have, you can shop them here.
If you do create Mum a beautiful breakfast platter, I'd love to see! Feel free to tag me @misswillowdesigns.
